Easy Cottage Pie

Ingredients

400g of lean minced meat (beef or turkey)

500g bottle of chunky pasta sauce

1 cup of frozen peas, corn carrots.

3 potatoes cooked and mashed. Then add a dash of milk to make creamy (can cook in microwave. See below)

1 cup of grated tasty cheese

Method

Preheat oven to 180 °C (356 °F)

1. in a frypan, cook the mince until brown, breaking it up with a spoon. 

2. Add frozen vegetables and cook for 1 minute. Then, add pasta sauce. Cook on low for about 10 minutes, until nice and thick.

3. Pour into an ovenproof casserole dish and using a spoon, add the mashed potato on top. Sprinkle top with cheese.

4. Cook for 18-20 minutes, until browning on top.

Serve.

Potatoes in Microwave

Wash, cut out eyes and into small pieces. Place in a ceramic bowl with a pinch of salt and drop of olive oil. Cover with ceramic plate  Cook for a few minutes and then allow to cool before removing the lid and mixing potatoes about to cover in oil, repeat until cooked.
