Ingredients
1 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecan nuts
2 eggs
1/2 cup of plain flour (75g) (sifted)
1/2 cup cocoa (50g) (sifted)
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees centigrade or 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Grease a 20cm square pan and line the sides and bottom with baking paper.
3. In a small bowl, beat butter and sugar together with electric beater, until fluffy and light.
4. Add eggs one at a time and beat until just combined.
5. Stir in flour and cocoa, and then the nuts.
8. Pour the mixture into cake pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle some crushed nuts on top.
7. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool in pan.
